ZnZr is Tetraauricupride structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Zr is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Zn atoms. All Zr–Zn bond lengths are 2.90 Å. Zn is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Zr atoms.
ZnZr is Halite, Rock Salt structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Zr is bonded to six equivalent Zn atoms to form a mixture of corner and edge-sharing ZrZn6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°. All Zr–Zn bond lengths are 2.75 Å.
