Materials Data on ZrGaIr2 by Materials Project
ZrIr2Ga crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two ZrIr2Ga ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Zr is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ir atoms. Both Zr–Ir bond lengths are 2.24 Å. Ir is bonded in a linear geometry to one Zr and one Ga atom. The Ir–Ga bond length is 2.44 Å. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ir atoms.
