Materials Data on Zr2PtAu by Materials Project
Zr2PtAu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Zr2PtAu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Zr is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pt and one Au atom. The Zr–Pt bond length is 2.43 Å. The Zr–Au bond length is 2.78 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zr atoms. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zr atoms.
