Materials Data on Zr2H2Pd by Materials Project
Zr2PdH2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Zr is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pd and four equivalent H atoms. All Zr–Pd bond lengths are 2.91 Å. All Zr–H bond lengths are 2.10 Å. Pd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Zr atoms. H is bonded to four equivalent Zr atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing HZr4 tetrahedra.
