Materials Data on Zr2CoPt by Materials Project
Zr2CoPt crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Zr2CoPt ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Zr is bonded in a linear geometry to one Co and one Pt atom. The Zr–Co bond length is 2.21 Å. The Zr–Pt bond length is 2.54 Å. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zr atoms. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zr atoms.
