Materials Data on ZnGeIr2 by Materials Project
Ir2ZnGe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ir2ZnGe ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ir is bonded in a linear geometry to one Zn and one Ge atom. The Ir–Zn bond length is 2.55 Å. The Ir–Ge bond length is 2.26 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ir atoms. Ge is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ir atoms.
