Materials Data on Zn2IrPd by Materials Project
IrPdZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two IrPdZn2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ir is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Ir–Zn bond lengths are 2.42 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Pd–Zn bond lengths are 2.43 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ir and one Pd atom.
