Materials Data on Yb4Co by Materials Project
Yb4Co is Iron carbide-like structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of eight Yb4Co clusters. Yb is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Co atom. The Yb–Co bond length is 2.43 Å. Co is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four equivalent Yb atoms.
