Materials Data on Yb2Ru by Materials Project
Yb2Ru crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one Yb2Ru sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Yb is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ru atoms. All Yb–Ru bond lengths are 2.87 Å. Ru is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Yb atoms.
