Materials Data on Yb2CdSn by Materials Project
Yb2CdSn is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Yb is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Cd and four equivalent Sn atoms. All Yb–Cd bond lengths are 3.29 Å. All Yb–Sn bond lengths are 3.29 Å. Cd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Yb atoms. Sn is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Yb atoms.
