Materials Data on YZnPt2 by Materials Project
YPt2Zn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two YPt2Zn ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt atoms. Both Y–Pt bond lengths are 2.41 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to one Y and one Zn atom. The Pt–Zn bond length is 2.47 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt atoms.
