Materials Data on YWO2 by Materials Project
YWO2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4_1/amd space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Y is bonded to six equivalent O atoms to form edge-sharing YO6 octahedra. There are two shorter (2.38 Å) and four longer (2.42 Å) Y–O bond lengths. W is bonded in a square co-planar geometry to four equivalent O atoms. All W–O bond lengths are 2.23 Å. O is bonded to three equivalent Y and two equivalent W atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge and corner-sharing OY3W2 trigonal bipyramids.
