Materials Data on Y3Rh by Materials Project
Y3Rh is Cementite structured and crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Y sites. In the first Y site, Y is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to two equivalent Rh atoms. There are one shorter (2.80 Å) and one longer (2.85 Å) Y–Rh bond lengths. In the second Y site, Y is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Rh atoms. There are a spread of Y–Rh bond distances ranging from 2.87–3.35 Å. Rh is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to eight Y atoms.
