Materials Data on Y2GaAu by Materials Project
Y2AuGa crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2AuGa ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Au and one Ga atom. The Y–Au bond length is 2.90 Å. The Y–Ga bond length is 2.84 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
