Materials Data on Y2GaAg by Materials Project
Y2AgGa crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2AgGa ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ag and one Ga atom. The Y–Ag bond length is 3.01 Å. The Y–Ga bond length is 2.83 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
