Materials Data on Y2CdPd by Materials Project
Y2PdCd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2PdCd ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pd and one Cd atom. The Y–Pd bond length is 2.53 Å. The Y–Cd bond length is 3.27 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
