Materials Data on Y2CdAu by Materials Project
Y2AuCd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2AuCd ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Au and one Cd atom. The Y–Au bond length is 2.71 Å. The Y–Cd bond length is 3.25 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
