Materials Data on Y2CdAg by Materials Project
Y2AgCd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2AgCd ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ag and one Cd atom. The Y–Ag bond length is 2.97 Å. The Y–Cd bond length is 3.13 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
