Materials Data on Y2BePb by Materials Project
BeY2Pb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two BeY2Pb ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Both Be–Y bond lengths are 2.81 Å. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Be and one Pb atom. The Y–Pb bond length is 2.88 Å. Pb is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
