Materials Data on Y2AlHg by Materials Project
Y2HgAl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2HgAl ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Hg and one Al atom. The Y–Hg bond length is 3.18 Å. The Y–Al bond length is 2.82 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Al is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
