Materials Data on VRe2Si by Materials Project
VRe2Si crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two VRe2Si ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. V is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Re atoms. Both V–Re bond lengths are 2.16 Å. Re is bonded in a linear geometry to one V and one Si atom. The Re–Si bond length is 2.31 Å. Si is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Re atoms.
