Materials Data on VNi2Sn by Materials Project
VNi2Sn is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. V is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Ni and six equivalent Sn atoms. All V–Ni bond lengths are 2.61 Å. All V–Sn bond lengths are 3.02 Å. Ni is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent V and four equivalent Sn atoms. All Ni–Sn bond lengths are 2.61 Å. Sn is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to six equivalent V and eight equivalent Ni atoms.
