Materials Data on UGeO2 by Materials Project
UO2Ge crystallizes in the tetragonal I4_1/a space group. The structure is three-dimensional and consists of eight germanium molecules and one UO2 framework. In the UO2 framework, U is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent O atoms. There are a spread of U–O bond distances ranging from 2.14–2.44 Å. O is bonded in a distorted trigonal non-coplanar geometry to three equivalent U atoms.
