Materials Data on UAl3Ni2 by Materials Project
UNi2Al3 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded in a distorted hexagonal planar geometry to six equivalent Ni atoms. All U–Ni bond lengths are 2.97 Å. Ni is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to three equivalent U and six equivalent Al atoms. All Ni–Al bond lengths are 2.50 Å. Al is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ni atoms.
