Materials Data on UAgTeO7 by Materials Project

UAgTeO7 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pbca space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U6+ is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to seven O2- atoms. There are a spread of U–O bond distances ranging from 1.80–2.58 Å. Ag2+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five O2- atoms. There are a spread of Ag–O bond distances ranging from 2.17–2.94 Å. Te6+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form edge-sharing TeO6 octahedra. There are a spread of Te–O bond distances ranging from 1.90–2.05 Å. There are seven inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one U6+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to two equivalent U6+ and one Te6+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted T-shaped geometry to one Ag2+ and two equivalent Te6+ atoms. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a trigonal non-coplanar geometry to two equivalent Ag2+ and one Te6+ atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one U6+ and one Ag2+ atom. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to two equivalent U6+ and one Te6+ atom. In the seventh O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one U6+, one Ag2+, and one Te6+ atom.
