Materials Data on U4Al by Materials Project
U4Al crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional and consists of two U4Al frameworks. U is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to three equivalent U and one Al atom. All U–U bond lengths are 2.62 Å. The U–Al bond length is 2.80 Å. Al is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four equivalent U atoms.
