Materials Data on Tl2CdBi by Materials Project
CdTl2Bi crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two CdTl2Bi ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Tl atoms. Both Cd–Tl bond lengths are 2.97 Å. Tl is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd and one Bi atom. The Tl–Bi bond length is 2.81 Å. Bi is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Tl atoms.
