Materials Data on TiGaTc2 by Materials Project
TiTc2Ga crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two TiTc2Ga ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ti3+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Tc3- atoms. Both Ti–Tc bond lengths are 2.17 Å. Tc3- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ti3+ and one Ga3+ atom. The Tc–Ga bond length is 2.51 Å. Ga3+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Tc3- atoms.
