Materials Data on Ti2CuNi by Materials Project
Ti2NiCu is beta-prime cadmium gold-derived structured and crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pmm2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Ti sites. In the first Ti site, Ti is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Ni and four equivalent Cu atoms. There are two shorter (2.56 Å) and two longer (2.80 Å) Ti–Ni bond lengths. All Ti–Cu bond lengths are 2.60 Å. In the second Ti site, Ti is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Ni and four equivalent Cu atoms. All Ti–Ni bond lengths are 2.60 Å. There are two shorter (2.56 Å) and two longer (2.80 Å) Ti–Cu bond lengths. Ni is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to eight Ti atoms. Cu is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to eight Ti atoms.
