Materials Data on TaAlCo2 by Materials Project
TaCo2Al is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ta is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Co atoms. All Ta–Co bond lengths are 2.58 Å. Co is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Ta and four equivalent Al atoms. All Co–Al bond lengths are 2.58 Å. Al is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Co atoms.
