Materials Data on SrPPt by Materials Project
SrPtP is hexagonal omega structure-derived structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P-6m2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sr is bonded to six equivalent Pt and six equivalent P atoms to form a mixture of edge and face-sharing SrP6Pt6 cuboctahedra. All Sr–Pt bond lengths are 3.29 Å. All Sr–P bond lengths are 3.29 Å. Pt is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Sr and three equivalent P atoms. All Pt–P bond lengths are 2.39 Å. P is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Sr and three equivalent Pt atoms.
