Materials Data on SrLaPt2 by Materials Project

SrLaPt2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two SrLaPt2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sr2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms. Both Sr–Pt bond lengths are 3.14 Å. La2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms. Both La–Pt bond lengths are 2.44 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sr2+ and one La2+ atom.

Materials Data on SrLaPt2 by Materials Project

SrLaPt2 is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sr2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms. All Sr–Pt bond lengths are 3.17 Å. La2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms. All La–Pt bond lengths are 3.17 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Sr2+ and four equivalent La2+ atoms.
