Materials Data on SrLaMg2 by Materials Project
SrMg2La crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two SrMg2La ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Sr is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Both Sr–Mg bond lengths are 3.67 Å. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sr and one La atom. The Mg–La bond length is 3.42 Å. La is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
