Materials Data on SrHN by Materials Project

SrNH crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sr2+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to five equivalent N3- and three equivalent H1+ atoms. There are a spread of Sr–N bond distances ranging from 2.54–2.83 Å. There are one shorter (2.60 Å) and two longer (2.67 Å) Sr–H bond lengths. N3- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to five equivalent Sr2+ and one H1+ atom. The N–H bond length is 1.04 Å. H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to three equivalent Sr2+ and one N3- atom.
