Materials Data on SrCaMg2 by Materials Project
SrCaMg2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two SrCaMg2 ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Sr is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Both Sr–Mg bond lengths are 3.79 Å. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Both Ca–Mg bond lengths are 3.68 Å. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sr and one Ca atom.
