Materials Data on Sr2ZnGe by Materials Project
Sr2ZnGe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Sr2ZnGe ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sr is bonded in a linear geometry to one Zn and one Ge atom. The Sr–Zn bond length is 3.40 Å. The Sr–Ge bond length is 2.88 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sr atoms. Ge is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sr atoms.
