Materials Data on Sr2ZnCd by Materials Project
Sr2CdZn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Sr2CdZn ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Sr is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd and one Zn atom. The Sr–Cd bond length is 3.66 Å. The Sr–Zn bond length is 3.60 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sr atoms. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sr atoms.
