Materials Data on Sr2Ir by Materials Project
IrSr2 is Fluorite structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sr is bonded to four equivalent Ir atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing SrIr4 tetrahedra. All Sr–Ir bond lengths are 3.15 Å. Ir is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Sr atoms.
