Materials Data on Sr2CdGe by Materials Project
Sr2CdGe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Sr2CdGe ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sr is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd and one Ge atom. The Sr–Cd bond length is 3.57 Å. The Sr–Ge bond length is 2.96 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sr atoms. Ge is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sr atoms.
