Materials Data on Sr(SbRu)2 by Materials Project

Sr(RuSb)2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sr2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Sb3- atoms. All Sr–Sb bond lengths are 3.54 Å. Ru2+ is bonded to four equivalent Sb3- atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing RuSb4 tetrahedra. All Ru–Sb bond lengths are 2.60 Å. Sb3- is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Sr2+, four equivalent Ru2+, and one Sb3- atom. The Sb–Sb bond length is 3.12 Å.
