Materials Data on SiTc2Ni by Materials Project
Tc2NiSi crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Tc2NiSi ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Tc3- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ni2+ and one Si4+ atom. The Tc–Ni bond length is 2.29 Å. The Tc–Si bond length is 2.26 Å. Ni2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Tc3- atoms. Si4+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Tc3- atoms.
