Materials Data on ScZn2Cd by Materials Project
ScCdZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two ScCdZn2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Sc–Zn bond lengths are 2.76 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Cd–Zn bond lengths are 2.75 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sc and one Cd atom.
