Materials Data on ScVOs2 by Materials Project
ScVOs2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two ScVOs2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Os2- atoms. Both Sc–Os bond lengths are 2.43 Å. V2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Os2- atoms. Both V–Os bond lengths are 2.19 Å. Os2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sc2+ and one V2+ atom.
