Materials Data on ScTiZn2 by Materials Project
ScTiZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two ScTiZn2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Sc–Zn bond lengths are 2.83 Å. Ti is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Ti–Zn bond lengths are 2.73 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sc and one Ti atom.
