Materials Data on ScMnAu2 by Materials Project
ScMnAu2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two ScMnAu2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Sc–Au bond lengths are 2.73 Å. Mn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Mn–Au bond lengths are 2.71 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sc and one Mn atom.
