Materials Data on ScAgHg2 by Materials Project
ScAgHg2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two ScAgHg2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both Sc–Hg bond lengths are 2.95 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both Ag–Hg bond lengths are 2.78 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sc and one Ag atom.
