Materials Data on ScAg2Hg by Materials Project
ScAg2Hg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two ScAg2Hg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ag atoms. Both Sc–Ag bond lengths are 2.71 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sc and one Hg atom. The Ag–Hg bond length is 2.88 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ag atoms.
