Materials Data on Sc2HgOs by Materials Project
Sc2OsHg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Sc2OsHg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to one Os and one Hg atom. The Sc–Os bond length is 2.24 Å. The Sc–Hg bond length is 3.16 Å. Os is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sc atoms. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sc atoms.
