Materials Data on Sc2BeOs by Materials Project
BeSc2Os crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two BeSc2Os ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sc atoms. Both Be–Sc bond lengths are 2.80 Å. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to one Be and one Os atom. The Sc–Os bond length is 2.24 Å. Os is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sc atoms.
