Materials Data on RbTmO2 by Materials Project
RbTmO2 is Caswellsilverite structured and crystallizes in the trigonal R-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Rb1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent O2- atoms. All Rb–O bond lengths are 2.92 Å. Tm3+ is bonded to six equivalent O2- atoms to form edge-sharing TmO6 octahedra. All Tm–O bond lengths are 2.29 Å. O2- is bonded to three equivalent Rb1+ and three equivalent Tm3+ atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge and corner-sharing ORb3Tm3 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°.
